Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights – Site Responsibility

Apart from the expressly stated exceptions (intellectual rights of third parties, collaborators and agencies), the entire content of myrina-castle.gr, of included images, graphics, photographs, drawings, texts, the provided services and in general all the archives of this website, are the intellectual property and logos of services of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Lesbos (EFAL) and are protected by the relevant clauses of Greek legislation, European legislation and international conventions and treaties. Consequently, none of these can constitute in whole or in part an object of sale, copy, modification, reproduction, republication or be ‘loaded’ to be transmitted or distributed in any way whatsoever. Any products or services referred to in the electronic pages of the present node and carrying the logos of the corresponding organizations, companies, collaborating agencies, associations or publications, are their own intellectual and industrial property, and consequently these agencies bear the relevant responsibility. The user understands and accepts that he/she does not have the right to reproduce, to copy, to sell, to resell and/or to exploit commercially in any way whatsoever all or part of the content of myrina-castle.gr without the special written permission of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Lesbos (EFAL), subsequent to the prior relevant application by the interested party.

Applicable Law and Other Terms

The above terms and preconditions of use of myrina-castle.gr, as well as any modification of them whatsoever are governed and supplemented by Greek legislation, the legislation of the European Union and the related international treaties (such as, indicatively and not restrictively, Law Ν. 2472/1997 for the protection of the person and the protection of personal data, as supplemented by the decisions of the President of the Protection of Personal Data Authority, Presidential Decrees 207/1998 and 79/2000 and article 8 of Law 2819/2000 as well as Law 2774/1999, and of the European legislation (Directives 95/46/ΕΚ and 97/66/ΕΚ). Any clause of the above terms that is opposite to the law ceases de jure to apply and is removed from the present, without in any way affecting the validity of the other terms.

The present constitutes the overall agreement between myrina-castle.gr and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Lesbos (EFAL) and the visitor/user of its pages and services and is binding only on them. No modification of these terms will be taken into consideration and will be part of this agreement, if it has not been expressed in writing and has not been incorporated in it.
